Our history: tradition and excellence
Since 1899, Cereria Mollá 1899 has witnessed and been the protagonist of a fascinating evolution in candle making.
It all began when Santiago Mollá Blanquer, at just 10 years old, joined his father in the family business founded by his grandfather. At a time when candles were essential to illuminate homes and streets, the candle factory established itself as a pillar of light and hope.
Over the years, we have faced challenges such as the arrival of electric lighting and the devastation of the Spanish Civil War.
We reinvented ourselves by focusing on the production of candles for the church, exporting to South America and, later, entering the HORECA market.
Today, we export more than 50% of our production to more than 60 countries, always maintaining our artisanal methods and a firm commitment to sustainability.
We use soy wax, cotton wicks, natural fragrances and recyclable packaging, combining tradition and innovation to offer candles of unsurpassed quality.
Cereria Mollá 1899 is more than a company; it is a legacy of passion, dedication and excellence that endures through generations.
